FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I am located in Northumberland near the coast and countryside, perfection location for Photo Shoots.

I prefer to do my Photo Shoots local, within 30 minutes of my location, as I am super lucky to live in such a beautiful place. However if you have somewhere specific in mind, I can drive to you for an added fee.

£50 per hour of time spent to drive to location.

For example if a session was planned 1 hour away from me that would be £100 extra both there and back, 2 hours extra of my time.

My editing style is creative, cinematic and sometimes a little abstract. In the edit process I try to create a touch of nostalgia, romance and fairytale. By adding dreamy hues with the essence of a retro film to make perfect memories frozen in time.

Before the session I will contact you and we can have a chat about your vision and how you would like to be captured. If you would prefer for me to take the lead during the photo shoot this is fine too. I will always send over a mood board for you with some ideas on poses, artistic designs, props etc. 

All you need is to be yourself and perhaps bring a couple of things that are important to you.

Yes, I require half of the total amount payable as a booking fee to confirm your photo shoot date. This is non refundable but it counts towards the total of your session: If for any unforeseen reason the photo shoot is cancelled we can always rearrange, I know life sometimes gets in the way.

Don’t worry, I’ll send over a mood board prior to the photo shoot. That way you can see the sort of captures we can achieve together. Also it’s natural to get nervous before had but honestly don’t worry too much about it, I will make it as fun as possible. 

For the Mini Self Love Photo Shoots I recommend 2-3 outfits, muted tones, whites, creams, greys, pale blues, greens. Perhaps one piece with a stand out colour, orange, red, black. No harsh logos. A variety of jackets id its cold, oversized sweater. However really I just want you to feel comfortable and confident in what ever you wear. We can discuss outfits before hand and decide together. 

For the Individual Cinematic sessions I recommend 3-5 outfits. During these sessions we have more time to create several looks and a diverse range of images.

The turn around from capture to photos at the moment is 4 weeks max but this can vary with work load.

Direct Bank transfer. 

However I can offer the option to pay in instalments prior to the photo shoot, we can chat about this is this is your preferred option. 

A non refundable deposit of half of the photo shoot amount is payable on the day of booking to secure the date.

I require the full payment 1 week before your Photo Shoot. 

The services I provide are niche. Tailored to the individual.

You are paying for, 

The planning that goes in to the whole Photo Shoot and the images we are trying to portray. 

The camera equipment, lenses, covers. 

The mastering of camera settings and time it takes to learn certain teqhniques relevant for each photo shoot. 
 
The fuel to location.

My editing time and experience. I hand edit every single image, which in itself is a lengthy, delicate process, there are no mass preset edits. Each image is carefully edited. I will never send over raw images because my editing style is part of my art. 

The upkeep of my website.

Finally I want to deliver the best photos I possibly can, this all takes a lot of time.

If for unforeseen circumstances the photo shoot is cancelled we can always reschedule. However the booking deposit will not be refunded, just moved to another date. 

If you do not want to go ahead with the photo shoot anymore the deposit will again not be refunded. 

When I have finished editing I will send over a link to your own private gallery. Here you will find all of your images, you can then select your favourites. You can select more than is offered in your package and pay for extra for those photographs if you would also like them. 

I love for you to see all of the images and make your own choice, it’s lots of fun seeing which images you love!

Payment is due 1 week before the Photo Shoot

Cancellation Policy

For any bookings that are cancelled 1 week before date of photo shoot, clients will be liable to pay the full balance of the photo shoot, this payment can NOT be refunded after this time. 

If the Photo Shoot is cancelled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances or injury the session can be rearranged to a later date, reschedule can be once in a 3 month period. 

In the event that we cannot agree another date or if you cannot attend your rebooked sessions then your session fee will be lost. Your session fee will no longer be refundable should you decided to cancel your shoot. 

You grant the photographer full creative licence to shoot, select images, edit images and deliver them in the style and method chosen by the photographer and reflective of the style and quality advertised by the photographer.
