Every photography session begins with a simple goal: to create images that feel true to the people in them. Last year I was diagnosed with breast cancer and knew after treatment had ended I wanted to offer something special to other survivors of breast cancer. Fast forward a few months and here I was with two inspirational women, both mother and daughter's lives had been touched by breast cancer. From the first moments of planning, this session had a sense of purpose. The focus was not just on creating beautiful photographs, but on preserving a genuine moment in time with care and intention to show the strength and resilience of these two beautiful souls, alongside a new found love for who they had become. The here and now in this photoshoot was so important.

As the session continued, the best images came naturally. Thoughtful direction, comfortable pacing, and a calm environment allowed real expressions and authentic connection to come through. tears and laughter became the base for the images and the small details often became the most meaningful parts of the final gallery.

That is what makes a session like this so rewarding. It creates more than photographs. It creates a lasting record of a moment so beautiful it deserves more than words.
